03 IBC Family Play Time – Membership Terms & Guest Policy

Family Play Time is a special program designed for 03 International Badminton Club families. Please review the membership terms and guest policy below. By joining Family Play Time, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Eligibility

  • Family Play Time is available to families with at least one actively enrolled 03 IBC student.
  • Membership applies to immediate family members living in the same household (parents/guardians and children).

2. Session Format & Access

  • Family Play Time is a self-guided open play session.
  • There is no formal coaching, no drills, and no structured activities during this time.
  • Families use the courts freely and are expected to share space with other families when needed.
  • Session Time: Every Sunday, 2:00–4:00 PM.

3. Parent / Guardian Responsibility

  • A parent or legal guardian must supervise their children at all times.
  • Parents are responsible for ensuring that their children behave safely and respectfully on and off the court.
  • Children should not run on unused courts, hang on nets, or play in unsafe areas.

4. Guest Policy

  • Each family membership includes one free guest per session.
  • Additional guests may join for a $12 drop-in fee per person.
  • Guests are not required to be 03 IBC students.
  • Families are responsible for the behavior and safety of their guests.

5. Membership & Billing

  • Family Play Time operates on a monthly membership model.
  • Early Bird Price: $49/month per family (January–March 2026).
  • Regular Price: $69/month per family (starting April 2026).
  • Membership fees are non-refundable once the month has begun.
  • Missed Sundays cannot be refunded, transferred, or carried over.

6. Safety & Facility Rules

  • All families must follow 03 IBC safety rules, court etiquette, and staff directions.
  • Non-marking court shoes are required.
  • Only water is allowed on the courts; no food or colored drinks.
  • 03 IBC may ask anyone exhibiting unsafe or disruptive behavior to leave.

7. Equipment

  • Shuttles are provided for all Family Play Time sessions.
  • Families should bring their own rackets.
  • Loaner rackets may be available but are not guaranteed.

8. Liability Waiver

By participating in Family Play Time, you acknowledge that badminton is a physical activity that carries inherent risk. You agree that:

  • You and your children are participating voluntarily.
  • You understand and accept all risks associated with participation.
  • 03 International Badminton Club, its owners, coaches, and staff are not responsible for injuries, accidents, or lost personal items.

9. Policy Updates

03 International Badminton Club may update these policies as needed. Members will be notified of any important changes.

Waiver and Release of Liability

Please read this document carefully. By participating in any activity at 03 International Badminton Club, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to the following terms.

1. Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge and understand that participation in badminton and related physical activities carries inherent risks. These may include, but are not limited to, bodily injury, paralysis, disability, death, and property damage. Risks may arise from the use of equipment, slips or falls, collisions with other participants, or underlying medical conditions. I also understand that contagious illnesses, including COVID-19, may present additional risks. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, whether known or unknown.

2. Waiver and Release of Liability

I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless 03 International Badminton Club, its owners, directors, officers, employees, staff, contractors, volunteers, sponsors, and agents (“releasees”) from any and all claims, liabilities, or demands arising from my participation in club activities. This includes claims resulting from negligence or conditions of the premises, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

This waiver applies to all activities, including but not limited to: training sessions, practices, matches, tournaments, camps, and any club-sponsored off-site events.

3. Medical Treatment Authorization

In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I authorize 03 International Badminton Club and its staff to obtain any medical treatment deemed necessary. I understand that I am solely responsible for all resulting medical expenses.

4. Photography / Media Release

I grant permission to 03 International Badminton Club to use my or my child’s image, likeness, or voice in photographs, videos, or other media for promotional, educational, or informational purposes. I understand that such media may be used without compensation.

5. Acknowledgment of Understanding

I have read this Waiver and Release of Liability Agreement, fully understand its terms, and acknowledge that I am giving up substantial legal rights by participating. I agree to these terms freely and voluntarily without inducement.

6. Parent/Guardian Consent (For Participants Under 18)

If the participant is under 18, I, as the parent/guardian, consent to their participation and agree to all terms of this waiver. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the releasees from any claims brought by or on behalf of my child.
